Easterbreak: Sculpture Workshop with Linea Matei

Join us in the workshop Bodybuilding in connection to the exhibition Chronos: health, access and intimacy. 

What would happen if you could create a new version of yourself? What would you look like then? What parts are needed to create a human? What is a strong body? Together we build and sculpt different kinds of bodies from doll parts, tape, textiles, beads and much more.

Linea Matei is based in Stockholm, born in 1990 and raised in Södertälje, with a father from Romania and a mother from Kiruna. In her art, she explores how relationships, behavior and cultural norms affect our society and us as people. Matei has a master's degree in CRAFT! and a BA in Textiles from Konstfack as well as an Art and Design degree from West London College. Most recently, she showed her monumental textile sculptures in a solo exhibition at CFHILL. Previously, she has exhibited at Misschiefs, Kulturhuset Stockholm, Husby Konsthall, Kvinnohistoriskt Museum Umeå and Jönköping County Museum, to name a few.

The course is free.
