Art Fridays at Tensta konsthall

Welcome to Art Fridays at Tensta konsthall every Friday this summer!

Between June 28 and August 9, everyone from the age of 6 can come to Tensta konsthall and try painting, collage and sculpture. Every Friday we try something new with our art educator Marita Al-Ghorabi who lead workshops in different techniques. Welcome to hang out with us on our pleasant veranda and create together with us!

It's free to participate and drop-in, so just come by the art gallery!

Age: From 6 years and older
Time: Every Friday at 13.00—16.00

PROGRAMME FOR ART FRIDAYS

June 28 — Shadow drawing
We investigate light and shadow play outdoors and paint with liquid ink.

July 5 — City models
We build cities and houses from mixed materials that we find in Tensta konsthall.

July 12 — Watercolor painting in the city
What color is the parking garage, the subway or the square? We do field studies and paint things outside the art gallery and learn about watercolor painting.

19 July — Plant prints
We make graphic prints of and with plants and flowers from Tensta konsthalls allotment and with the help of water jets and gel plates.

26 July — Clay
Roll, print, roll and paint fine clay paintings of things that we find in nature and the art gallery. August 2 — CyanotypeWe work with non-digital magical photography that is developed by the sun.

August 9 — Art Fridays Final
We take out all the materials from the cupboard and test different methods and expressions and make a joint All-Art work and end the Art Fridays with a small exhibition!
