Platt som en pannkaka med Luca Lee Frei
17.1 2026, 15:00— 18:00
Welcome to Flat as a Pancake — where art, music, food and textile practice meet!
Artist Luca Lee Frei invites us to share memories connected to textiles. Bring something you have folded away in a closet at home—a tablecloth, a piece of clothing, or any kind of textile that you find difficult to part with!
The event initiates and ends with a DJ:set by artist Cara Tolmie, providing a roaming musical backdrop during the event, exploring a widely eclectic mix of sonic temperatures and tones in response to the setting at Tensta konsthall.
Bella Rune and Cecilia Widenheim, who curated Soft Logic together, will give an introduction to the exhibition.
Please RSVP to: info@tenstakonsthall.se
Luca Lee Frei is an artist based in Sundbyberg, Stockholm. His practice moves between sculpture, installation, textiles, exhibition design, and book design. Luca Lee Frei is interested in collective processes and pedagogy and often uses themes or experiences from everyday life in his work.
Cara Tolmie spends much of her time oscillating between contexts as an artist, musician, performer, pedagogue and researcher. Her works have been performed and exhibited widely at art galleries, music festivals, biennials, conferences and in the public space – both as solo presentations and collaborative projects. Her practice at large investigates the complexity of the bind between the voice and body - of how voice can traverse internal and external realities of both the sounder and listener and how it can research various qualities of embodiment, both pleasurable and disorienting.
